The Truth about Truth

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. When Jesus spoke to the Roman governor, Pontius Pilate, he told him that the reason he came was to "testify to the truth and everyone on the side of truth listens to me." Immediately Pilate retorted, "What is truth?" Little did he realize at that moment that the very embodiment of Truth was standing before him. Jesus, in very nature God (Philippians 2:6). Jesus is the image of the invisible God and the firstborn over all creation (Colossians 1:15). In Jesus were all things created by Him, through Him and for Him (Colossians 1:16). It is in Jesus that all things hold together (Colossians 1:17). Jesus is the head of the body, which is the church. For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him and through Him, to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross (Colossians 1:19,20).
This said, we can say that we know that Jesus is the Truth!
