Made to worship

We were made to worship. If we do not worship Jesus, we will worship something else. The enemy KNOWS that we are made to worship God and he wants to interfere with that.

Have you noticed how flashy, bright, and attractive the world is? There is always some new thing to buy, a new fashion to wear, a new techie gadget, It never ends... but it does get our attention, and often our desires. We just have to have it!

Where are our affections? Those are the things that we will worship. Anything and everything that comes between us and God. Where our treasure is, that is where our hearts are. The treasures that we hold are the very affections that prevent us from a close relationship with Jesus. I am made to worship Him and Him alone.
